Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo is the clarifying detox shampoo made for use with Mike’s proprietary hair-cleansing process. It is sold by Macujo.com, the official website owned by Mike Macujo—the creator of the original Macujo Method and the developer of the newer, more complete Mike’s Macujo Method.
This is not a generic “Aloe Rid” product, a refill, or a shampoo that is merely advertised as being comparable to Aloe Rid. It is the authentic product required to perform Mike’s current method correctly.

Hair exposure is not the same for every person. The substance involved, the amount and frequency of use, the date of last use, hair characteristics, and the time available before testing can all affect the cleansing plan.
For that reason, Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo is not sold as a one-wash, one-size-fits-all solution. It is intended to be used for the personalized number of cleansing sessions recommended by Mike’s system.
Customers receive access to:
The shampoo, method, and recommended number of washes are designed to work together. Substituting another shampoo or completing fewer than the required washes can reduce the likelihood of success.

Many websites use the words “Macujo Method” without explaining that two very different methods exist.
Mike created the original method around 1999–2000. It was developed specifically for low to moderate THC exposure and functioned as a temporary mask. According to Mike’s customer data, it achieved approximately a 90% success rate for moderate THC exposure under the conditions for which it was designed.
The old method has important limitations:
Because modern tests and customer exposure levels have changed, the old method should not be confused with Mike’s current process.
Mike’s Macujo Method was introduced around 2018 and developed for high THC levels as well as other drugs and relevant metabolites. It requires authentic Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo and the full number of washes recommended for the customer’s circumstances.
Based on Mike’s customer data, the reported success rate is better than 99% when the authentic shampoo is used and every required wash and direction is completed. Once the cleansing process is successfully completed, Mike states that the hair remains clean unless the person uses the substance again.
This performance statement is conditional. Results may be affected by individual exposure, hair, timing, proper product use, completion of every required session, and adherence to all directions.

There is no accurate universal answer such as “wash three times” or “use one bottle.” Mike developed the Mike’s Macujo Required Washes Calculator from years of customer experience and testing data.
The calculator considers information such as:
To create an additional margin of safety, recommendations may include one to three extra washes. Customers should complete the calculator honestly and follow the resulting recommendation instead of guessing or following generic directions found elsewhere online.
Mike’s Macujo Method is the standard method for high THC exposure and for non-cocaine drugs or metabolites, including:
When several non-cocaine substances or metabolites are involved, the customer should use Mike’s Macujo Method and provide all relevant exposure information when completing the calculator.
When cocaine is the only substance involved, Mike’s Cocaine Method may be the more appropriate process. It is a separate five-step method created specifically for cocaine and can allow more cleansing sessions to be completed within a shorter period.
When cocaine and one or more additional substances are involved, use Mike’s Macujo Method and base the required cleansing target on cocaine. According to Mike’s process, the other substances generally cleanse sooner than cocaine.
Customers who are unsure which method applies should contact Macujo.com before beginning.
The original Nexxus Aloe Rid product was discontinued in November 2010. The older Aloe Rid trademark later expired in 2013. Mike states that, after the discontinuation, he retained a supply of genuine shampoo and was able to document its authenticity when questioned.
Mike moved his business to Macujo.com in 2016. He states that he later located the company connected with the original formulation, arranged a new production order in 2017 under the name Generic Macujo Aloe Rid, and renamed the product Macujo Aloe Rid in 2018.
Today, Aloe Rid® is a registered trademark (U.S. Registration No. 7,001,951), and Macujo.com is the official source identified by the brand for Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo.
Customers should be cautious of old bottles, refilled containers, imitation formulas, and products described with phrases such as “compare to Aloe Rid.” The original Nexxus product has not been manufactured since 2010, so claims that newly filled Nexxus bottles contain the original shampoo should be treated with caution.
The authentic Macujo Aloe Rid® product is sold through Macujo.com. The established package design uses a black squeeze tube with bright blue bands, white “MACUJO ALOE RID” lettering, the words “CLARIFYING DETOX SHAMPOO,” and a yellow-and-white “ORIGINAL” seal. Package size may vary.
Using an imitation, refill, discontinued product, or unrelated detox shampoo means the customer is not performing Mike’s method with the product on which his directions and customer data are based.
Purchasing directly from Macujo.com helps ensure that customers receive:
Macujo Aloe Rid® is the product Mike identifies as the real gold standard for his current method. Websites that discuss only a generic “Macujo Method” may be describing the old, THC-only process or may be selling an unrelated shampoo.
Read all supplied directions before starting. Complete the calculator using accurate information and allow enough time to perform every recommended session. Do not assume that extra product can compensate for skipped steps, incomplete sessions, or an inaccurate exposure history.
For questions about the correct method, product, or calculator recommendation.
No. Nexxus discontinued its Aloe Rid product in November 2010. Macujo Aloe Rid® is the current product sold by Macujo.com for use with Mike’s method. Mike states that its development is connected to the original formulation company and proprietary formulation knowledge, but it should not be represented as newly manufactured Nexxus shampoo.
No substitution is recommended. Mike’s performance data and directions are based on authentic Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo. A product labeled “similar to,” “compare to,” “old formula,” or “Aloe Rid alternative” is not the same product.
The number varies by substance, frequency, last-use date, and individual circumstances. Use Mike’s Macujo Required Washes Calculator rather than relying on a fixed number.
No. The old method was developed only as a temporary masking process for low to moderate THC exposure. It was not created for high THC levels or other substances.
Use Mike’s Macujo Method and enter the complete exposure history. Under Mike’s routing rules, cocaine becomes the primary cleansing target because other substances generally wash sooner.
Mike’s separate five-step Cocaine Method may be recommended. Contact the Macujo team or follow the official product guidance to confirm the appropriate process.
No product can responsibly promise the same result for every person or every testing situation. Mike reports better than 99% success from his customer data only when the authentic product is used, the exposure information is accurate, and all calculated washes and directions are completed. Individual results can vary.
Macujo.com is the official source identified by the brand. Be cautious of marketplaces, refilled bottles, discontinued Nexxus packaging, and sellers using vague comparison language.
Do not rely on an outdated THC-only method, guess how many washes you need, or substitute an unrelated shampoo. Start with authentic Macujo Aloe Rid® Shampoo, complete the personalized calculator, and follow every current direction supplied with your order.
